President Tinubu has urged Senate to confirm Ola Olukoyede appointment as the new EFCC boss.
Newsonline Nigeria reports that President Bola Tinubu has written the Nigerian Senate, seeking the screening and confirmation of Ola Olukoyede as chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
This Nigeria news platform understands that if confirmed, Ola Olukoyede will serve for a term of four years.

Recall that President Tinubu had appointed Olukoyede as substantive chairman of EFCC.
Olukoyede’s appointment followed the resignation of the suspended executive chairman of the commission, Abdulrasheed Bawa.
Newsonline Nigeria reports that President Tinubu’s request for his confirmation is contained in a letter read during Tuesday’s plenary by the President of the Senate, Godswill Akpabio.
President Tinubu also asked the Senate to confirm Mohammed Hassan as secretary of the anti-graft agency.
