NewsOnline Nigeria reports that Victor Ozhianvuna has said goodbye to Shamrock Rovers following his final appearance for the club, with his proposed move to Arsenal drawing closer.
The Premier League side are expected to complete the signing of the youngster during the January transfer window after reportedly reaching an agreement for his transfer in October 2025.
At the time, Ozhianvuna was 16 years old and therefore unable to officially join Arsenal.
He turns 18 in January 2027, clearing the way for the transfer to be finalised during the winter window.
Until then, the youngster has remained at Shamrock Rovers. With the club’s season now over, he has paid tribute to the side where he progressed from the academy to senior football.
In a post on Instagram, Ozhianvuna reflected on his 11 years at the club, describing his time there as memorable and saying he would leave with experiences he would never forget.
“After 11 amazing years, I’m saying goodbye to the club where I’ve made memories that I’ll never forget,” he wrote.
Ozhianvuna is reportedly expected to sign a four-and-a-half-year contract with Arsenal in January, which would keep him at the North London club until 2031.
