UBA has announced a major partnership with Lions Group for ‘Detty Side’ Festive Campaign and unveiled exclusive Red Pass Benefits.

NewsOnline Nigeria reports that Africa’s Global Bank, United Bank for Africa (UBA), has unveiled a strategic partnership with the Lions Group, a top entertainment and lifestyle company, to deliver premium experiences to Nigerians and returning diaspora throughout the highly anticipated “Welcome to the Detty Side” festive campaign.

The collaboration, announced during the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), will offer UBA customers exclusive access to top beach destinations, concerts, and entertainment events across Lagos during the Detty December season.

Central to the campaign is the UBA Red Pass, the official access card that allows both existing and prospective customers to unlock all Detty Side offers seamlessly.

Speaking at the MoU signing, UBA’s Group Head of Marketing & Corporate Communications, Alero Ladipo, said the bank is committed to rewarding customers with unforgettable experiences, especially during the festive period.

“Our partnership with the prestigious Lions Group enables us to deliver unmatched value by granting customers special access to some of Lagos’ most sought-after concerts and beach destinations. The UBA Red Pass is truly the key to a memorable Detty December, with exciting discounts and cashback rewards,” Ladipo said.

Vice President of Strategy and Growth at Lions Group Africa, Adebayo Abe, emphasised that the collaboration is tailored to deliver secure, seamless, and satisfying entertainment experiences, particularly for Nigerians in the diaspora returning home for Detty December.

“With UBA, we found the perfect partner. The Red Pass offers endless possibilities by connecting users to premium beaches and concerts while giving them incredible discounts,” Abe said.

Through the UBA–Lions Group–Wakanow partnership, Red Pass holders will enjoy:

  • 25% discount on access fees to Lions Group’s premium beaches: Wave Beach, Kyma Beach, and Athena Beach

  • 5% cashback on concert tickets purchased via the Detty Side website for major shows including Kizz Daniel Live, Fireboy Live, Dance With Poco Lee, and other Lions Group events

Vice President at Wakanow, Gbolahan Salami, said the travel company is excited about the partnership, describing UBA as a reliable platform for expanding reach and delivering value to more customers this festive season.

The campaign reinforces UBA’s growing reputation for supporting lifestyle, entertainment, and customer-centric initiatives that elevate festive celebrations across Africa.
