How To Print 2026 JAMB Exam Slip

JAMB Exam Slip Printing 2026 for UTME Candidates and how to print 2026 JAMB Exam Slip can be accessed below.

NewsOnline Nigeria reports that the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has commenced the printing of examination slips for candidates registered for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).

According to the examination body, the 2026 UTME is scheduled to begin on April 16, 2026. Candidates are therefore advised to print their examination slips early, as the document contains vital information required on the exam day.

Why the JAMB Exam Slip Is Important

The UTME examination slip contains key details that every candidate must know before arriving at the exam centre. These include:

  • The examination date
  • The examination time
  • The exact address of the exam centre

These details help candidates properly plan their movement and avoid mistakes on the examination day.

JAMB has stressed that candidates without a printed examination slip will not be allowed into the exam hall. The board also warned that any candidate who misses the exam will lose the opportunity to take it.

How to Print the 2026 JAMB UTME Slip

Candidates can print their slips through the official JAMB slip printing portal or via the JAMB eFacility portal.

Steps to Print the UTME Slip

  1. Visit the JAMB examination slip printing page HERE
  2. Enter your JAMB registration number, phone number, or email address used during registration.
  3. Click “Print Examination Slip” to view and print the document.

Alternative Method via JAMB Portal

  1. Go to the JAMB eFacility portal.
  2. Log in with your registered email address and password.
  3. Select “Print UTME Main Examination Slip” on your dashboard.

Important Rules Candidates Must Follow

JAMB advised candidates to take note of the following guidelines:

  • Do not bring phones, smartwatches, or other prohibited items to the exam centre.
  • Carry a printed copy of the examination slip.
  • Candidates must use thumbprint verification before entering the exam hall.
  • Candidates who miss the examination will not be allowed to resit it.
  • Subjects cannot be changed at the exam centre.
  • Candidates should visit their exam centres ahead of time to familiarise themselves with the location.

How Candidates Can Prepare for the 2026 UTME

Printing the slip is only one step. Adequate preparation remains essential for success in the examination.

Candidates are advised to:

  • Create a study timetable for each subject.
  • Use the official JAMB syllabus to identify key topics.
  • Practise with past UTME questions.
  • Study recommended textbooks.
  • Familiarise themselves with the Computer-Based Test (CBT) format.
  • Follow JAMB updates and announcements online.

JAMB Warns Against Score Manipulation Claims

JAMB has also warned candidates to ignore fraudsters who claim they can artificially increase UTME scores, particularly on social media platforms such as WhatsApp.

The board described such claims as false and criminal, warning that any candidate found involved in such activities risks cancellation of registration or withholding of examination results.

Candidates are therefore encouraged to print their examination slips early, confirm their exam details, and prepare adequately ahead of the UTME scheduled to begin on April 16, 2026.
