FRSC has promoted 104 Personnel and charged them on professionalism.

NewsOnline Nigeria reports that the Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC, Ekiti State Command, has promoted and decorated 104 personnel, comprising 25 officers and 79 other ranks.

The newly promoted personnel were decorated during separate ceremonies held at the Command Headquarters and various Unit Commands across Ekiti State.

Speaking at the ceremony, the Sector Commander, FRSC Ekiti State Command, Sanya Adeoye, congratulated the beneficiaries and commended the Corps Marshal, Shehu Mohammed, for approving their promotions.

Adeoye urged the personnel to justify the confidence reposed in them by demonstrating greater professionalism, discipline and dedication in the discharge of their responsibilities.

He noted that their new ranks came with increased responsibilities and charged them to uphold the ideals of the FRSC’s founding fathers by rejecting corruption and adhering strictly to professional standards.

The Sector Commander also urged them to remain committed to the Corps’ mandate of reducing road traffic crashes and promoting a sustainable road safety culture across Nigeria.

“Promotion is from God,” Adeoye said, encouraging personnel who were not promoted in the latest exercise to remain dedicated to their duties and continue giving their best.

He assured them that their time would come if they remained committed and professional.

Adeoye also appealed to motorists and other road users to obey traffic rules and regulations, particularly as the country approaches the ember months, when vehicular movement and road safety risks typically increase.

He congratulated the promoted personnel and wished them success as they assumed their new responsibilities.
