NewsOnline Nigeria reports that Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand has revealed details of a conversation he had with Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen regarding a possible move to the Red Devils.
Ferdinand said he advised the Nigerian forward to consider the opportunity if Manchester United ever approached him.
The former England international has previously urged his old club to sign the 27-year-old striker during past transfer windows.
“I told him, ‘Victor [Osimhen], if Manchester United calls you, you should listen to them’,” Ferdinand said, as quoted by Türkiye Gazetesi.
“He said, ‘Rio, that is a different question. I can’t do it unless Galatasaray approves.’ I said, ‘Exactly, that is why I am asking.'”
