296 New COVID-19 Cases

296 new COVID-19 cases have been confirmed by NCDC, the frontline health agency in Nigeria.

 

NewsOnline Nigeria reports that the Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) on Tuesday evening, 8th September 2020, confirmed 296 new cases of coronavirus disease infection from a total of 15 states in Nigeria.

Given the 296 new COVID-19 cases, the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Nigeria has risen to 55,456 which includes 43,334 discharged cases and 1,067 deaths.
