President Bola Ahmed Tinubu arrived at the polling centre at about 11:35 a.m., shortly after the completion of accreditation.
Speaking before voting commenced, APC Lagos State Chairman Pastor Cornelius Ojelabi commended party members for the peaceful conduct of the exercise.
“The rewards of your loyalty to the party will yield proceeds in due course. Thank you for the wonderful support for our President and the APC,” he said.
He further urged party members to remain committed to the ruling party ahead of the 2027 general election.
“At the end of today, Nigerians will know that APC remains the strongest political party in the country,” he added.
Announcing the final results, the ward returning officer, Martha Adikwu, disclosed that Tinubu secured 4,996 votes out of the 5,163 accredited voters in the ward, confirming a decisive victory for the President in the primary poll.
The outcome further strengthens Tinubu’s position ahead of the APC presidential nomination process for the 2027 general election.
