NewsOnline Nigeria reports that sacked Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, Betta Edu has publicly declared her support for President Bola Tinubu, expressing confidence in his leadership amid Nigeria’s current challenges.

Despite being suspended by Tinubu on January 8 following the release of a controversial memo involving a request to transfer N585 million to a private account, Edu remains optimistic about the direction of the country. The president had directed the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to investigate the financial transactions of the humanitarian ministry.
