Prophet Odumeje has recalled being an armed robber before he was arrested by Jesus Christ.

NewsOnline Nigeria reports that the General Overseer of Mountain of Holy Ghost Intervention Deliverance Ministry, Onitsha, Pastor Chukwuemeka Ohanaemere, popularly known as Prophet Odumeje, has shared how he turned to armed robbery at the age of 14 before finding salvation.

In a video that went viral on Thursday, Odumeje, addressing his congregation, revealed that growing up on a dangerous street in Onitsha, Anambra State, led him into a life of crime.

Odumeje disclosed that he grew up on a dangerous street in the Onitsha area of Anambra State.

“I was born in Onitsha city, No. 3, Nnewi Street, and I grew up in a dangerous street. I became an armed robber at the age of 14.

“I became a terrorist. Until Jesus Christ arrested me through the help of my mother to change my life. And a destroyer became a saviour,” he said.

Known for his controversial statements, Odumeje recently made headlines in September when he threatened to harm his critics, saying, “I don’t call the police for enemies.”

Odumeje is known for his controversial style of preaching, dramatic deliverance sessions, and public statements, and has built a reputation as a charismatic figure in Nigeria’s religious landscape.

He is often referred to as ‘The Lion Himself’ and ‘The Indaboski Bahose,’ terms he uses to describe himself.
