Osita Ngwu has defected from People’s Democratic Party to All Progressives Congress.

 

NewsOnline Nigeria reports that the Senate Minority Whip, Osita Ngwu, has officially defected from the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC).

 

Ngwu, who represents Enugu West Senatorial District, announced his defection in a letter that was read on the floor of the Senate on Wednesday.

Following the development, the number of PDP senators in the Red Chamber has dropped to six, further reshaping the opposition’s strength in the National Assembly.
