PDP Crisis: It Doesn’t Matter Any Gang-up, Something Will Happen Soon- Wike

Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike has assured his supporters that issues in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) would be resolved no matter the gang up against him by some persons in the PDP Rivers State chapter.

 

Newsonline reports that Governor Wike assured his supporters he did not care what his opposition in the state PDP was planning, he was sure, he was doing the right thing.

 

Recall that Wike and his team, which included the governor of Benue, Samuel Ortom, Abia, Okezie Ikpazu and Oyo, Seyi Makinde on Thursday, had a meeting with the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar to resolves issues challenging the party’s chances at the 2023 general election.

Governor Wike stated this on Monday at the flag-off of Eneka Internal Roads in the Obio-Akpor area of the state.

 

Wike said, “Anybody who knows me knows that once I have made up my mind and I believe that what I am doing is right, if you like, let the whole people team up, as far as my conscience is clear, I will do what is right at all times; It doesn’t matter any gang up.

 

“All of us should be calm; you’ve heard what is happening in PDP. Nothing has happened yet but by the grace of God; something will happen.”
