
Newsonline reports that the All Progressive Congress, APC, Osun State Chairman, Gboyega Famodun, disclosed the intention of the incumbent governor and the state APC, on Thursday, in Osogbo.
Gboyega Famodun revealed that the state APC and the incumbent governor have a strong strong case against the governor-elect, Ademola Adeleke and his Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, which they believe the Tribunal will give them victory after entertaining their submission.
Newsonline had reported that the ruling APC incumbent governor, Adegboyega Oyetola, lost to the PDP, candidate, Senator Ademola Adeleke, in the July 16 election.
Reacting to the loss of the party, APC, the National Chairman, Adamu Abdullahi, blamed the loss on internal skirmishes in the state among APC members.
Famodun in the Press Conference held at the Party Secretariat said the counsels to the party and that of Governor Adegboyega Oyetola have concluded plans and will be approaching the court.
The state APC chairman further disclosed that according to their legal team Oyetola and the Osun State APC “have a strong case and we believe we will win at the court.”
