1. There was heavy security deployment at the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal and other flash points and dark spots in Abuja on Tuesday ahead of the delivery of the judgment on the election petitions challenging the election of President Bola Tinubu on Wednesday (today). The tribunal is expected to deliver judgement on the petition filed by the Presidential candidate of Labour Party, Peter Obi and his counterpart, Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
2. The strike called by the Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, to protest the failure of the Federal Government to provide palliatives following the fuel subsidy removal grounded economic and commercial activities in several states on Tuesday. Power holding companies and other sectors of the economy were shut down.
3. The Department of State Services, DSS, has arrested some officials of the Nasarawa State Emergency Management Agency and their accomplices for allegedly diverting palliatives meant for vulnerable citizens. Orjiako, ordered the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to conduct a supplementary election in 94 polling units in the district.

President Tinubu gave the assurance in New Delhi, India, during his meeting with the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Hinduja Group of Companies, Mr. Prakash Hinduja.
9. Those who lost out as a result of the removal of fuel subsidy are determined to frustrate government policies and programmes, Vice President Kashim Shettima has said. Speaking on Tuesday in Abuja, Shettima restated the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu administration’s commitment to its decisions, policies and programmes.
10. The Nigerian Navy Ship Beecroft, on Tuesday, paraded three personnel of a security outfit, Gallantry Intelligence Corps of Nigeria, at the Isolo area of Lagos State. The Commander, NNS Beecroft, Commodore Kolawole Oguntuga, while parading the suspects, said they were arrested after receiving reports of their alleged fraudulent activities.
