This online newspaper understands that Messi registered his 20th goal and 20th assist in all competitions this season for PSG, making him the only player across Europe’s top five leagues to achieve the feat.
The Argentina World Cup winner achieved the feat after providing an assist for Kylian Mbappe’s eighth-minute strike, which helped PSG secure a 2-1 victory against Auxerre at the weekend.
His performance against Auxerre also ticked another huge milestone in Messi’s career as he has now registered a combined total of 300 assists in his club career so far.
