Appeal Court has ordered ASUU to suspend the ongoing strike immediately.

Newsonline reports that granted the application by the Federal government on the ground that ASUU failed to obey the ruling of the Industrial Court which had ordered its members to return to class before filing an appeal.

The court then ordered ASUU to obey the lower court’s ruling and calls off the strike immediately, pending the determination of the substantive suit.

The National Industrial Court, on Sept. 21, ordered ASUU to call off the strike.
