FCT Minister Wike yesterday held a strategic meeting with PDP loyalists in Abuja.

NewsOnline Nigeria reports that the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, is currently holding a closed-door meeting with key members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) loyal to him.

The meeting, which began at 8:40 p.m., is taking place at Wike’s official residence in Abuja.

Those in attendance include prominent PDP leaders such as the National Secretary, Sam Anyanwu; National Vice Chairman (South-South), Dan Orbih; and former Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom.

Also present are former Abia State Governor, Okezie Ikpeazu; former Enugu State Governor, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi; former Rivers East Senator, George Sekibo; along with several zonal and state party chairmen.

Earlier on Monday, during his monthly media chat, Wike hinted at the planned gathering, noting that he and his allies within the party would be meeting later in the day.
