Photos of Tinubu and Buhari London meeting went viral on social media on Thursday night. One of the photos showed Tinubu standing with the support of a walking stick as he poses for the camera alongside President Buhari.

Newsonline reports that the photos of Tinubu and Buhari London meeting sparked series of reactions among concerned Nigerians home and abroad.

Although Tinubu and Buhari London meeting was purely coincidental, Nigerians flocked to social media to vent their displeasure, asking how President Buhari can go on medical tourism while resident doctors in Nigeria, where he governs are on strike.

“A sick President met a sick National leader in another country where they sought healthcare because they had no operating healthcare facility or system in their home country,” Amadi Brians wrote, clearly enraged.

Seun Oloketuyi wrote: “Two creators of APC Government receiving medical treatment in London Hospitals while doctors are on strike in Nigeria. One is President, the other wants to be, what a terrible irony”.

“And it’s hilarious, “Amodi leleyi,” when the people in control make another country a safe haven for whatever reason, and leaders go there to check on things and take photos.” Niyi Ogunneye expressed herself on Facebook.

The subjects covered at the Tinubu and Buhari meeting, according to insider information gathered by ENigeria Newspaper, had to do with the latter’s succession in 2023.

Tinubu, a noted master strategist, is said to be positioning Vice President Yemi Osinbajo to take his place in the Presidential campaign as the odds of him succeeding Buhari in 2023 suffer a severe setback.
