President Tinubu Government has raised petrol price to ₦992 per litre nationwide.

NewsOnline Nigeria reports that President Bola Tinubu Government through the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) has once again increased the pump price of petrol, moving from ₦865 to ₦992 per litre.

As of the time of filing this report, no official statement has been issued by the NNPCL or the Federal Government explaining the sudden price adjustment.

Across several NNPC retail outlets in Lagos, attendants were seen updating their pumps to reflect the new price. At the NNPC station on Ogunusi Road, Ojodu Berger, attendants confirmed they had been instructed to change the pump price to ₦992 per litre.

However, checks at some outlets along the Lagos–Ibadan Expressway, including the Ibafo axis, showed that a few stations still displayed the old price of ₦875 per litre, though most were not dispensing fuel as of Monday morning.

The development has sparked confusion among motorists, with long queues beginning to form across parts of Lagos and Ogun States.
