APC Spokesman Felix Morka Mocks Peter Obi Over ADC Exit Amid Crisis

“Peter Obi, a political rolling stone that gathers no moss… roaming again in search of free, uncontested, unchallenged presidential ticket,” Morka wrote.

APC Spokesman Felix Morka has mocked Peter Obi over ADC exit amid crisis.

NewsOnline Nigeria reports that the National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress, Felix Morka, has criticised former Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, following his resignation from the African Democratic Congress (ADC).

In a post shared on X on Sunday, Morka described Obi as a “political rolling stone,” accusing the former Anambra State governor of repeatedly moving from one political party to another in pursuit of a presidential ticket.

“Peter Obi, a political rolling stone that gathers no moss… roaming again in search of free, uncontested, unchallenged presidential ticket,” Morka wrote.

The APC spokesman further alleged that Obi has consistently avoided internal political contests and lacks the patience to build and strengthen a political party structure over time.

“He fantasises to be president on a ticket delivered only on a platter of gold,” he added, referencing Obi’s political journey through parties including APGA, PDP, Labour Party, ADC, and now the NDC.

Morka concluded his remarks by describing Obi as “Nigeria’s inconsolable political drifter.”

The comments followed Obi’s announcement earlier on Sunday that he had resigned from the ADC.

In his resignation statement, Obi cited persistent internal crises, division, and what he described as a toxic political environment within the party.

He alleged that forces responsible for destabilising the Labour Party had also begun infiltrating the ADC, creating distractions through court cases, internal conflicts, and political tension.

Obi clarified that his departure was not due to personal disagreements with prominent party leaders such as former Senate President David Mark or former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, both of whom he said he still respects.

The former presidential candidate also maintained that he is not desperate for political office, insisting that his focus remains on improving governance, security, and the welfare of Nigerians.

Despite leaving the ADC, Obi expressed optimism that Nigeria can still achieve competent and compassionate leadership built on justice, service, and equal opportunity.
