AAC’s Ifemeludike has declared herself as the winner of the just concluded Anambra pool despite 292 votes.

NewsOnline Nigeria reports that the African Action Congress (AAC) candidate in the just-concluded Anambra State governorship election, Chioma Ifemeludike, has described herself as a winner, despite losing to incumbent Governor Chukwuma Soludo of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA).

According to official results released by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Ifemeludike polled 292 votes, while Soludo emerged victorious with 422,664 votes. The All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Nicholas Ukachukwu, came second with 99,445 votes.

Reacting on her X (formerly Twitter) handle on Sunday, Ifemeludike said her performance represented a moral triumph, anchored on integrity rather than political influence.

“Integrity stands firm and higher than political deception. I’m a winner!” she wrote.

The AAC candidate, who gained online attention during the campaign for her bold and unconventional media approach, expressed satisfaction with her campaign, stressing that it was conducted without electoral malpractice.

She added that her participation reaffirmed her belief in honest, courageous, and transparent politics — a path she hopes more Nigerians will follow despite the dominance of larger political parties.
