SDP’s Adebayo has blasted Tinubu Government and said that his administration has ‘failed Nigerians completely’.

NewsOnline Nigeria reports that Former presidential candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), Prince Adewole Adebayo, has criticised President Bola Tinubu’s administration, saying it has failed Nigerians in every aspect of governance.

Speaking on Prime Time on Arise Television on Tuesday, Adebayo accused the government of neglecting key areas such as security, education, justice, and poverty reduction.

“I expected this administration to understand that security is a national priority and act decisively to protect citizens, but they have done very little,” he said.

According to him, insecurity continues to worsen under Tinubu’s leadership. “New terror groups are emerging, communities in the Middle Belt are clashing, and Boko Haram remains undefeated. Today, you’re more likely to see government officials taking selfies with terrorists than confronting them,” Adebayo lamented.

On the economy, he faulted the government’s approach to poverty alleviation and development, describing it as ineffective. He particularly criticised the student loan scheme, arguing that poor infrastructure and incessant industrial strikes make it meaningless.

Adebayo also described the recent presidential pardons as “a complete fiasco,” saying they reflect poor governance and misplaced priorities.

He urged Nigerians to reject any attempt to return the current administration to power in 2027, warning that “a second term for Tinubu would only deepen the country’s embarrassment.”
