President Buhari has made fresh appointments.

 

 

News Online reports that Nigeria’s President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the constitution of the Board of Federal Housing Authority (FHA) for a period of three years.

President Buhari, News Online gathered, also reappointed Sen. Lawal Shuaibu from Zamfara State as the Chairman of the Board.

 

This online news platform understands that the latest development was made known via a statement by the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, on Thursday.

President Buhari’s spokesman noted that other members of the Board include:

  1. Modestus Umenzekwe, Anambra State
  2. Mumini I. Hanafi, Kwara State
  3. Adamu Maina Dadi, Yobe State
  4. Eng. Adamu Ismaila, Adamawa State
  5. Barr. Zubairu S.N, Nasarawa State.

Others are Chinyere Anokwuru, Abia State; Yinka Ogunsulire, Ondo State: Veronica N. Shinnaan, Plateau State; Aleruchi Cookey-Gam, Rivers State and Olajumoke O. Akinwunmi, Ogun State.

Shehu further stated that President Buhari’s approval of the appointment into the Board of FHA took into cognisance requisite competence, experience, and network in the housing industry to actualize the administration’s vision of providing decent and affordable housing for Nigerians.
