In a brief, Adejobi said, “We are presently hosting ECOWAS Commision on Pre-Election Fact-finding Mission to Nigeria, led by Dr Kwadwo AFARI-GYAN, former President of the Electoral Commission of Ghana, at the Force Headquarters, Abuja.”

The Force Headquarters PPRO added, ‘Our decision is to bequeath to Nigerians a more secure environment for smooth electioneering process, we deserve good governance, peaceful coexistence and safe society in Nigeria.”

Also, the Force Public Relations Officer, Prince Olumiya Adejobi has advised Nigerians to obey traffic rules, especially in areas that have zebra crossing and other road signs.

The Force Headquarters Public Relations Officer gave the advice while clarification on some road signs for citizens on Twitter handle on Sunday.

He advised citizens who raised concerns that Police Officers in patrol vans disobey traffic rules and signs there by causing traffic conjestions.

Adejobi in clarification said, “Like I always say, to every rule, there must be an exception. Those on essential services are exempted. Security operatives, medical services, fire service, etc are exempted. Even if they must violate this rule, they must do with caution because it won’t be nice or palatable to knock down any pedestrian on the zebra crossing as well. But they are exempted. So don’t do like them, becuase you are not the same.”
