The Labour Party secretariat, located in the Utako District of Abuja, was previously occupied by the Julius Abure-led faction until the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) formally recognised Usman and her leadership team.
At the time of filing this report, preparations were ongoing at the secretariat, with a banner displaying the photographs of Senator Usman and the Acting National Secretary, Senator Darlington Nwochocha, being mounted around the premises ahead of an event to formally signal the commencement of a new leadership era in the party.
