He said Dickson had confirmed receipt of updates on his candidacy and noted that his name had been duly uploaded on the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) portal as the Vice Presidential candidate alongside Peter Obi on the party’s platform.
“We remain steadfast, united, and fully focused on the mission ahead,” Kwankwaso said.
“I was delighted to welcome my brother and National Leader of our great party, the NDC, His Excellency Henry Seriake Dickson, to my residence in Abuja.
“I took the opportunity to brief him on the highly productive engagements and consultations I have undertaken across the North West states, which have yielded very encouraging results,” he added.
Kwankwaso also highlighted ongoing consultations across the North West, saying the engagements have recorded positive feedback and strengthened the party’s momentum ahead of the elections.
The meeting is part of wider political consultations within the NDC as the party intensifies preparations ahead of the 2027 general elections.
