Wike's Constant Attacks Gives Atiku More Edge In North - Okowa

Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, have chosen Ifeanyi Okowa as vice-presidential candidate for the 2023 general election.

Newsonline reports that the opposition Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, will in the next few hours, announce the Delta State Governor, Ifeanyi Okowa as the running mate of the party’s presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar.

Contrary to the reports that the Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike would emerge as Atiku’s running mate, source reports that the party has settled for Okowa.

The announcement is coming 24 hours before the deadline given by INEC for all political parties to submit the names of their running mates.
