JAMB has released 279 previously withheld UTME Results after malpractice investigation.
NewsOnline Nigeria reports that the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB, has released 279 results that were previously withheld for further investigation over alleged examination malpractice.
The Board disclosed this in a statement issued on Thursday, noting that the newly released results are in addition to those earlier made available to candidates.

According to JAMB, the decision followed ongoing investigations into suspected cases of examination malpractice during the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, UTME.
The examination body explained that while some results were cancelled after evidence of malpractice was established, others were released after investigations showed no prima facie case against the affected candidates.
JAMB also stated that results from centres flagged for suspicious activities by its live monitoring team, as well as centres with adverse reports, remain withheld pending the conclusion of investigations.
The Board warned that any candidate found culpable after investigations would have their results cancelled.
“Candidates whose results have not yet been released are advised to check their status by sending UTMERESULT to 55019 or 66019 using the same phone number used for registration to view their released results,” the statement said.
