Chief of Army Staff, General Ibrahim Attahiru’s Wife who was rumored to have died along with her husband in the plane crash is alive.
News Online reports that the Chief of Staff to the Governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El-Rufai, Mohammed Dattijo, has disclosed that the wife of the late Chief of Army Staff, Ibrahim Attahiru Fati is alive.

Dattijo in a post on his Twitter account debunked the report that Attahiru’s wife was involved in a plane crash.
“It is incorrect; the wife is alive. May his gentle soul rest in perfect peace,” he tweeted.
News Online earlier reported that a Nigerian Air Force aircraft conveying some top military officers crashed near Kaduna. Chief of Army Staff, Lt.-Gen. Ibrahim Attahiru died in the crash on Friday.
The Nigerian Air Force in a post on Twitter confirmed that the air crash, involving a @NigAirForce aircraft, occurred near the Kaduna International Airport.
The Air Force spokesperson, Air Commodore Edward Gabkwet, in the tweet, said that the immediate cause of the crash was still being ascertained.
