Eastern Security Network, Ebubeagu has suffered a major setback following the resignation of its Chairman, Umahi.

 

News Online reports that weeks after the newly formed Southeast security outfit popularly known as Ebubeagu was rolled out, its chairman, Major General Obi Abel Umahi (rtd) has resigned.

Umahi, News Online gathered, tendered his resignation in a letter dated June 4, 2021, entitled: “Resignation as Chairman Southeast Security Committee – Ebubeagu” and addressed to the chairman of the South East Governor’s Forum, Governor Dave Umahi.

He also copied his resignation letter to the president-general of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Ambassador George Obiozor.
