President Tinubu

President Tinubu has announced 55 massive appointments.

NewsOnline Nigeria reports that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has unveiled a sweeping wave of 55 high-profile federal appointments, covering key agencies, commissions and boards, a shake-up that has already sparked political chatter nationwide.

One of the most dramatic moments came when Tinubu withdrew the reappointment of Muheeba Dankaka as Chairperson of the Federal Character Commission (FCC) just hours after confirming her return. Initially reinstated at 6:35 p.m. on Monday, Dankaka’s name was abruptly replaced with that of former lawmaker Ayo Hulayat Omidiran by 10:44 p.m. the same night.

The rapid reversal caused confusion, as congratulatory messages, including one from the Emir of Ilorin, poured in before the official correction was announced.
