Donald Trump won the US Presidential Election Debate held last night with high margin.

NewsOnline Nigeria reports that a CNN survey conducted after the presidential debate showed that 67% of viewers believed Donald Trump emerged as the winner, compared to 33% for Joe Biden.

This result has sparked significant concern among prominent Democrats, with some labelling President Biden’s performance as disappointing.

Reports from CNN indicate that discussions are underway among high-ranking Democrats about potentially approaching President Biden to suggest he consider stepping down.

The unease within the Democratic Party was palpable following the debate, reflecting a broader sense of dissatisfaction with Biden’s showing.

Fox News reported that sources within the Democratic National Committee (DNC) described high-ranking Democrats as being in full meltdown and shock after Biden’s debate performance.

There is serious consideration being given to replacing Biden, although such a move would require Biden’s agreement to withdraw.

During the debate, Donald Trump criticized Biden’s presidency, calling him “the worst president in our country.”

Biden, in response, labelled Trump “the worst president in country history.”

Trump warned that Biden would lead the country into World War III and touted his performance on cognitive tests, suggesting Biden should take similar tests.

Biden described Trump as a “whiner” and expressed concern that Trump might refuse to acknowledge the election outcome.

Trump also claimed to have achieved significant economic benefits for Black and Hispanic communities, asserting, “I have the biggest black numbers ever.”

This appeal to the economic interests of minority groups was part of his broader debate strategy.

The fallout from the debate continues as both candidates prepare for the next stage of the election campaign.
