Access Bank UK Polo Day 2026

Access Bank UK Polo Day 2026 is set to raise funds for classrooms in Northern Nigeria.

NewsOnline Nigeria reports that Access Bank is set to host its annual UK Polo Day on Saturday, July 4, 2026, in Windsor, bringing together global business leaders, investors, entrepreneurs, policymakers and cultural influencers for one of the most anticipated international networking events of the year.

Beyond the glamour and prestige associated with the event, this year’s edition will focus on a philanthropic mission aimed at improving access to education in Northern Nigeria.

According to the bank, proceeds from the 2026 Access Bank UK Polo Day will fund the construction of additional classroom blocks in underserved communities across Northern Nigeria, where millions of school-age children continue to face limited access to quality education due to inadequate infrastructure.

The initiative reflects Access Bank’s long-standing commitment to education and sustainable development, recognizing that investment in learning infrastructure is essential for economic growth, social inclusion and national development.

By supporting the construction of new classrooms, the bank hopes to create safer and more conducive learning environments, encourage school enrollment particularly for girls and provide communities with facilities that can improve educational outcomes for future generations.

Over the years, the Access Bank UK Polo Day has evolved beyond a sporting event into a global platform for networking, investment discussions and cross-border partnerships. The annual gathering attracts influential business executives, investors, public sector leaders and entrepreneurs from around the world, creating opportunities for strategic collaborations while advancing impactful social causes.

This year’s event comes at a time when international trade, investment and development partnerships are becoming increasingly important. Access Bank says it remains committed to fostering connections that drive economic opportunities across Africa while ensuring that underserved communities benefit from inclusive development.

Speaking ahead of the event, Jamie Simmonds, Managing Director of The Access Bank UK, said the annual gathering continues to unite influential leaders around a common purpose.

“Every year, we bring together an extraordinary community of leaders from across the world. People come to strengthen relationships, explore new possibilities, and contribute to something that matters. What matters most is the chance to make a real, lasting difference in the lives of young Nigerians who simply need a place to learn,” he said.

Hosted in the historic town of Windsor, just outside London, the event combines world-class polo with high-level networking in an atmosphere designed to encourage meaningful conversations and long-term partnerships.

For Access Bank, the UK Polo Day represents more than an elite sporting occasion. It is a platform for mobilizing global support for education, strengthening international business relationships and demonstrating the bank’s commitment to creating lasting social impact in Nigeria and across Africa.

As guests gather on July 4, the event is expected to generate resources that will help build classrooms capable of transforming educational opportunities for children in Northern Nigeria, leaving a legacy that extends far beyond the polo field.
