Newsonline Nigeria reports that the acting Chairman of the Federal Inland Revenue Service, FIRS, and the Presidential Committee on Fiscal Policy and Tax Reforms Chairman, Taiwo Oyedele, are expected to speak at the ongoing 10th Senate Retreat.

He explained that the retreat will discuss tax law reforms, harmonization, and revenue generation topics.
According to him, the platform would allow Oyedele to cross-fertilize ideas on amendments required to drive the nation’s tax sector.
Newsonline Nigeria recalls that on October 5, the Director-General of the National Institute for Legislative and Democratic Studies (NILDS), Prof Abubakar Sulaiman, inaugurated a committee to executive the 10th Senate retreat scheduled for 18th to 21st October 2023.
