The Atiku/Okowa presidential campaign council has accused the ruling party All Progressives Congress presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, of being against the withdrawal limit by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).

Newsonline reports that Daniel Bwala, the spokesman for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) campaign council said the APC and its candidate are fighting the CBN governor because they are away the bullion van politics will not work in 2023 election.

Atiku PCC accused the APC and its candidate, Bola Tinubu of turning against Godwin Emefiele, CBN governor after they had celebrated him because the two policies of naira redesign and withdrawal limits have closed their strategy to rig the 2023 election.

“Bullion van politics would not work. Say no to vote buying. The man is a member of your party, you appointed him, celebrated his banking reforms, but now want to remove him because he re-designed the naira. Abi the re-designed naira is allergic to the bullion van?” Bwala said.

Recall that in the 2019 election, a bullion van allegedly stocked with money was reportedly seen driving out of the Lagos house of the current presidential candidate of the ruling APC, Bola Tinubu.
