The Eagle Online Publisher Dotun Oladipo is dead.
NewsOnline Nigeria reports that Veteran Nigerian journalist and Publisher of The Eagle Online, Dotun Oladipo, has died at the age of 56.
Oladipo died in Lagos on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, after reportedly taking ill suddenly at his office.
His death was confirmed by the Guild of Corporate Online Publishers, GOCOP, where he previously served as president.

Oladipo, a former Politics Editor of PUNCH Newspapers, was the Managing Editor and Chief Executive Officer of Premium Eagle Media Limited, publishers of The Eagle Online.
His sudden death has shocked colleagues, friends and associates across Nigeria’s media industry.
Further details surrounding his death and funeral arrangements are expected to be announced by his family.
