Toyin Abraham, Jide Kosoko, and Eniola Badmus among others have joined Lagos APC Campaign Council.
NewsOnline Nigeria reports that several prominent Nollywood actors and entertainers, including Toyin Abraham-Ajeyemi, Jide Kosoko, Eniola Badmus, Bukky Wright, Bimbo Akintola and Adebayo Salami, popularly known as Oga Bello, have been named members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Campaign Council in Lagos State ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Their names appeared under the Entertainment and Creative Economy Directorate in the campaign council’s membership list released on Thursday by the Kadri Obafemi Hamzat Media Centre.

According to the list, Toke Benson-Awoyinka will serve as Director of the directorate, while Kosoko was appointed Co-Director and Eniola Badmus Deputy Director.
Akeem Alimi, popularly known as Ajala Jalingo, was named Secretary, while Dare Olateju will serve as Assistant Secretary.
Other Nollywood personalities listed in the directorate include Saheed Balogun, Abiola Adebayo, Remi Oshodi, Foluke Daramola, Fathia Balogun, Kikelomo Balogun, Yinka Quadri, Abbey Lanre and Tayo Sobola.
The directorate also includes several prominent figures from the Nigerian music and entertainment industry, including Wasiu Alabi Pasuma, Abass Akande Obesere, Adewale Ayuba, Sulaimon Alao Adekunle, popularly known as Malaika, Akorede Babatunde Okunola, known as Osupa, and Temitope Adekunle, popularly called Small Doctor.
The Entertainment and Creative Economy Directorate is one of several structures within the Lagos APC Campaign Council for the 2027 elections.
The broader campaign council lists Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu as Chairman and Deputy Governor Kadri Obafemi Hamzat as Deputy Chairman. The council is scheduled for inauguration on Friday, September 18, at the APC Secretariat on ACME Road, Ikeja.
The inclusion of entertainers in the campaign structure comes as political parties and groups continue to organise their campaign structures ahead of the 2027 general elections.
