2023: ‘Pastor Adeboye Rechristianed Me Abraham, Father Of Nations’ – Tinubu

Tinubu has revealed that the pastor of the popular Redeemed Christian Church of God, Enoch Adeboye rechristened him Abraham, father of all nation.

 

Newsonline reports that the All Progressive Congress, APC, presidential candidate has said that General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, rechristianed him Abraham, meaning the father of many nations.

Pastor Adeboye is the cleric of one of the biggest pentecostal churches in the world.

Tinubu made the revelation in Kano during a meeting with leaders of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Tijaniyya sect, and other Islamic groups.

In a trending video, Tinubu narrated how Adeboye called him Abraham when his wife, Remi, was ordained a pastor.

“The day my wife was ordained a pastor, I was there. Pastor Adeboye gave me Abraham. I said what is the meaning, he said watch out…the father of nations,” he said.

Tinubu was in Kano State, on Saturday, to open his campaign offices.

 

He was accorded a rousing welcome by the people of Kano, Jigawa and Zamfara States, was received at the Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport by thousands of supporters, on Saturday.

The APC presidential candidate was received by the Governors of Kano, Jigawa and Zamfara States, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, Alhaji Badaru Abubakar and Alhaji Mohammed Bello Matawalle, who thronged the state with hundreds of their supporters.
