Newsonline reports that the Kia brand has many new cars lined up for 2023. After only recently introducing the 2022 EV6 electric crossover, the brand reached an all-time new high. All-new models and updated designs are sweeping their way through the 2023 models. With these new models, strong styling isn’t the only focus. Some new trims and features have been added to the cars. Below are some of the 2023 models, what’s new with them, including their pros and cons you should be aware of.
For the 2023 Kia Soul, the brand slimmed it down. The outside received a refreshed design with a new front grille, foglights, daytime running lights, rear fascia, and taillights with a boxy crossover. Some other changes in the vehicle are a new 17-inch and 18-inch wheel design and a pair of two-tone paint schemes.
For the 2023 Kia Soul, the X-Line and Turbo models have been discontinued. Now the Soul lineup has a total of four trims: LX, S, EX, and GT-Line. Starting from the 2023 model, all new Kia Souls will be powered with a 2.0-liter engine naturally aspirated four-cylinder against the previous 1.6-liter.
The Soul is also equipped with more standard safety technology and offers the GT-Line Technology package, which bundles navigation-based adaptive cruise control, high-gloss interior trim, a Harman Kardon sound system, and many more.

The Kia Niro comes with a new redesign for the 2023 model. The car offers a hybrid, a plug-in hybrid, and an EV. The SUV receives fresh new bodywork and a stylish cabin. Despite being slightly bigger and more spacious inside than the older models, the new Niro boasts a lighter curb weight.

Standard features in the Niro are; forward collision avoidance, lane-keeping assist, lane-following assist, driver attention warning, blind-spot collision avoidance, rear cross-traffic collision avoidance assistance, safe exit warning, and rear-seat occupant alert.

The 2023 Kia Niro is all-new this year, entering its second generation and looking more stylish than ever. The 2023 Kia Niro hybrid starts at $26,490.
The compact Kia Sportage received a revamp for the 2023 model year. This fifth-generation Sportage is larger in every dimension than its predecessor and wears bold, concept-like exterior styling. Its 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine makes 187 horsepower, a 6-horsepower greater than the previous model. The gasoline Sportage has FWD or AWD, and the latter gains a 1.5-inch lift over its two-wheel drive sibling.
There are available Sportage Hybrid and Plug-in Hybrid. The conventional hybrid develops a total system output of 226 horsepower and can travel 589 miles on a single tank. The PHEV is even more powerful at 261 horsepower and possesses an electric range of 32 miles. There’s also a rugged-looking X-Pro trim available for the first time.
Kia equips dual 12-inch displays on almost every trim, a Wi-Fi hotspot for up to five devices, and a touchpad control for the climate and audio systems. Safety features include forward collision avoidance with cyclist detection capability, lane-keep assist, automatic high beams, reverse parking distance warning, and driver attention warning. There are also several driver assistance tech upgrades on the options list.

Price: The entry-level 2023 Sportage has a starting price of $25,990. The top model, the Sportage X-Pro Prestige, begins at $36,790.
There was an all-new redesign for the Kia Sorento with the 2022 model. This means the 2023 model will receive some trim tweaks. The Sorento Hybrid’s base S trim will no longer be offered, making the Sorento EX the new entry-level model with a standard eight-way power front passenger seat and a frameless rearview mirror. The New SX-P trim is the new top-spec variant equipped with AWD by default.
Other features include 17-inch alloy wheels, LED foglights, a power tailgate with automatic opening capability, dual 12.3-inch displays, a Bose premium audio setup, and second-row captain’s chairs. The Sorento Hybrid SX-P also receives navigation-based adaptive cruise control. Forward collision avoidance assist, a 360-degree parking camera view, Kia’s Blind View Monitor system, and front and rear parking sensors.
The Sorento Plug-in Hybrid range has been simplified to just the SX-P trim. New features include sunshades for the rear doors, a 115-volt power outlet, and Kia’s HomeLink system.
