Zoho Analytics has introduced AI Agents to help businesses turn data into actionable insights.
NewsOnline Nigeria reports that Zoho has upgraded its Analytics platform with agentic AI capabilities, new data connectors and governance tools to help businesses improve decision-making and automate workflows.
Zoho has announced a major update to its Zoho Analytics business intelligence platform, introducing agentic analytics capabilities designed to help organisations connect business data, generate context-aware insights and support AI-driven workflows.
The announcement was made on Wednesday, October 28, 2026, with the upgraded platform providing a shared intelligence layer that enables AI agents to interpret business information and support operations across analytics and business applications.
According to the company, the update is designed to help organisations move beyond traditional reporting and data analysis by using artificial intelligence to generate insights that reflect their business structures, priorities and operational needs.

Kehinde Ogundare, Country Head of Zoho Nigeria, said the development reflects the growing importance of establishing a reliable data foundation for AI-driven business operations.
“We are at the beginning of the next leap forward in data analytics, where a strong data foundation is the starting point for all agentic activity in business operations,” Ogundare said.
He added that the enhanced platform provides an intelligence layer that gives AI tools access to relevant business context, metrics and governance controls to generate more reliable responses.
Zoho Analytics Expands AI Capabilities
At the centre of the update is Ask Zia, Zoho’s conversational business intelligence tool, which now uses a multi-agent architecture to coordinate specialised agents across data analysis, visualisation, preparation, modelling, coding and actions.
The capability allows users to move from asking questions about business data to developing analyses and creating workflows through a single interface.
Zoho Analytics also introduces semantic and ontology layers to help AI agents understand an organisation’s terminology, business metrics, data structures and relationships between different business entities.
The semantic layer standardises definitions, metrics, synonyms and instructions, while the ontology layer provides a structured representation of how different elements of a business relate to one another.
The company said these capabilities are built directly into Zoho Analytics, enabling organisations to manage their business models without requiring a separate data platform or cloud data warehouse.
Businesses can also create custom AI agents grounded in their own data, business models and knowledge bases, with connectivity to external tools and Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers.
Zoho Adds More Than 30 Data Connectors
The platform’s integration capabilities have also been expanded with more than 30 additional data connectors, building on the over 500 connectors already available.
The new integrations include Zoho ERP, Zoho Spend, Zoho FSM, Zoho Shifts and Zoho Voice, as well as third-party platforms such as SAP, PayPal, Adobe Commerce, Twilio, Notion, Intercom, Supabase, Amazon DocumentDB and AlloyDB.
These integrations are designed to help organisations consolidate information from multiple applications and data sources for analysis and decision-making.
The platform also enables businesses to create multiple semantic models for different operational contexts, allowing departments such as finance and operations to work with metrics and definitions relevant to their functions.
In addition, its workflow builder and contextual action triggers allow organisations to connect insights with business processes, helping teams respond to identified issues and opportunities.
Businesses Can Extend AI Beyond Analytics
Zoho Analytics now supports additional ways for developers and AI agents to use its intelligence capabilities outside the platform.
Through the Zoho Analytics MCP server, developers can build solutions that use its data analysis, preparation and visualisation capabilities. The company has also introduced a command-line interface and a Claude plug-in for working with Zoho Analytics.
Organisations can embed AI agents into their own applications, portals and products through white-label capabilities while maintaining permissions and governance controls.
The tools are intended to help businesses integrate analytics and AI-driven functionality into their existing digital environments.
Zoho Strengthens AI Governance and Oversight
The update also introduces tools designed to help organisations monitor AI usage, manage data access and oversee automated processes.
Zoho Analytics’ data catalog brings together data, metrics, analytics and models, supporting data lineage, impact analysis, search and the management of data and access policies.
Its AI observability capabilities allow administrators to monitor which agents have run, who has used them, what information they accessed and how they responded to queries. Administrators can also track AI usage and costs across teams.
The platform’s sandbox and deployment management capabilities enable teams to develop and test analytics assets and AI agents in controlled environments before deploying them to production. Previous versions can also be restored when necessary.
New Reporting and Predictive Analysis Features
Beyond its AI-agent capabilities, Zoho Analytics has introduced more than 50 additional features, including over 10 new visualisations, custom visuals and pixel-perfect reports.
The enhancements also include predictive analysis tools such as scenario analysis, a correlation matrix and a VARX forecasting model.
Other additions include a data science studio featuring Jupyter notebooks, PMML import and expanded analysis types. Ask Zia is also available on mobile with an upgraded interface.
Zoho Analytics is used daily by 100,000 businesses worldwide and is available through Zoho Cloud, on-premises installations, public cloud infrastructure including AWS, Azure and Google Cloud, and hybrid deployments.
Zoho Analytics Pricing and Availability
Zoho said pricing for Zoho Analytics remains unchanged despite the new features. Zoho LLM credits are now included in each plan.
The Basic plan starts at ₦18,480 per month, billed annually, covering two users, 500,000 rows and 10,000 Zoho LLM credits.
Further pricing information is available on the company’s official pricing page.
The cloud updates are available now, while preview versions of pixel-perfect reporting, ontology and semantic modelling are expected to roll out globally over the next four to eight weeks. Updates to the on-premises version are scheduled for the first quarter of 2027.
Zoho said future developments will focus on dynamic business context, decision intelligence, open standards and interoperability, alongside plans to expand the platform into a unified data environment combining integration, preparation, analytics, data science and AI-agent development.
