Victor Osimhen has reportedly turned down Chelsea’s move.

NewsOnline Nigeria reports that Napoli striker Victor Osimhen is not interested in joining Chelsea.

The Nigeria international has long been linked with a move to Stamford Bridge – but it seems Osimhen does not have any desire to join up with Enzo Maresca’s side.

“Chelsea’s pursuit of Victor Osimhen has suffered a major blow as the Napoli striker is reportedly not keen on a move to Stamford Bridge,” reports the Mirror.

“Osimhen has been heavily linked with a move away from the former Italian champions this summer and it recently emerged that the Blues were in talks over a potential swap deal involving the Nigeria international and Romelu Lukaku.

“According to the Athletic, Chelsea and Napoli were discussing a move that would see Osimhen leave on loan with an option to buy and Lukaku make a permanent switch to Italy to link up once again with Antonio Conte.

“However, that deal now looks unlikely to go through after Corriere dello Sport claimed the prospect of joining Chelsea ‘does not excite’ Osimhen.”
