The newly re-elected France president, Emmanuel Macron, has stated that Ukraine’s government may have to negotiate with Russia in the going war.
Newsonline reports that Emmanuel Macron disclosed this while speaking on Cable News Network on Wednesday, stating that France is not at war with the Russian republic.
Emmanuel Macron said the time has come for Ukraine and Europe to negotiate with Russia or Ukraine to fight to victory.
“Europe and Ukraine will have to negotiate at some point,” he said according to CNN.
Macron stated that “the only desirable end to the conflict is either a Ukrainian military victory or talks at some point because fighting has stopped, so at some point, we must talk.
He said, “We Europeans will be around the table to negotiate, at some point that will happen.”
