Teach Hausa and Yoruba In US Universities – Fulbright FLTA Program 2022 – 2023 below.

 

 

NewsOnline reports that U.S. Mission Nigeria is pleased to announce the annual call for applications for the Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistant (FLTA) program 2022/2023. The FLTA program is designed to offer young foreign teachers an opportunity to teach Yoruba or Hausa language and culture to American students in universities and colleges.

Application Requirements:

Applicants must be currently teaching and graduates who have received their bachelor’s degree in English language, Education, Linguistics, Yoruba, Hausa or Languages.
How to apply:

 

Interested and quali ed Applicants should visit https://apply.iie.org/½ta2023 to apply.

Applications will close on 1st of June 2022.

 

The Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistant Program (FLTA) is sponsored by the United States Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA).

As part of the Fulbright Foreign Student Program, the Fulbright FLTA Program is designed to develop Americans’ knowledge of foreign cultures and languages by supporting teaching assistantships in over 30 languages at hundreds of U.S. institutions of higher education.

 

The program offers educators from over 50 countries the opportunity to develop their professional skills and gain rst-hand knowledge of the U.S., its culture and its people.
