Step-by-Step Guide to apply for Tinted Glass Permit Online can be accessed below.

NewsOnline Nigeria earlier reported that the Nigeria Police Force has resumed the issuance of tinted glass permits across the country and unveiled a comprehensive nine-step digital guide to streamline the application process for motorists.

The move followed a directive from the Inspector-General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, in response to growing concerns over the harassment of vehicle owners with factory-fitted tinted windows by law enforcement agents.

Announcing the development in a statement on Wednesday, the Force Public Relations Officer, Olumuyiwa Adejobi, said the initiative aims to improve transparency, accessibility, and public trust in police services

“This move comes in response to rising concerns and complaints from the public over the harassment of vehicle owners by law enforcement agents for using factory-fitted tinted windows,” Adejobi stated.

According to the police, applicants can now register and apply for a tinted glass permit via the Police Specialised Services Automation Project (POSSAP) portal at www.possap.gov.ng.

Hereunder Step-by-Step Guide:

4. Verify your account: Confirm your registration using a code sent to your email.

5. Log in: Use your email and password to access the portal.
