Singer, performing artist and superstar Rema was recently presented with a plaque by major streaming platform Audiomack for crossing the 200 million streams mileage on the platform.
Newsonline reports that, Nigerian music star Rema, who, came into the limelight in 2019 with his fire EP which generated major interest due to its uniqueness.
Since his arrival into the music industry, Rema has released several hit songs including ‘Bad Commando’, ‘Dumebi’, Lady’, ‘Ginger Me’, ‘Woman’, and more recently ‘Calm Down’. His songs have been enjoyed by listener all over the world, hence accumulating streams on several streaming platform, with Audiomack being one of them.
He has now gone ahead to accumulate a whopping 200 million streams on the streaming platform, which has prompted them giving him a plaque.
The plaque was presented to Rema by Vice President of Marketing and Brand Strategy for Audiomack, Jason Johnson at his sold-out headline show in New York, where he thrilled audience in one of the stops in his sold-out Rave and Roses tour,
“Rema has shown that with hard work, intentionality, and determination it is possible to achieve great feats. Since his introduction to the industry in 2019, he has continuously grown and shown the fans many layers to his creativity. We are proud to be able to celebrate this milestone with Rema and we hope to celebrate more milestones in the future”, said Jason Johnson.

The plaque sees Rema join a list of Nigerian artists who have surpassed the 200 million streaming mark on Audiomack which boasts of 5 million monthly users in Nigeria.
