Buhari, Not Tinubu, Ordered Removal Of Boss Mustapha, Osinbajo's Name

The vice president, Professor Yemi Osinbajo and the Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregbesola have been charged to declare openly their support for Bola Tinubu’s presidential ambition.

Newsonline reports that Chief Remilekun Usman made the challenge to the duo stating that their political history would not be complete without the role of Tinubu.

In a statement personally signed and made available to newsmen in Ibadan, Chief Remilekun Tijani Usman, said he will donate N100 million to the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate campaign if the ban on campaign is lifted.

He called on Osinbajo and Aregbosola to bury the hatchets and key into the Yoruba agenda of making Tinubu president come 2023.

Part of the statement read, “If those who are not from Yorubaland including northerners are not hiding their support for Asiwaju Tinubu, one wonders why our brothers whose political journey cannot be completed without Tinubu’s influence are yet to be mobilizing and working secretly and openly for him.

“There may be differences but they should resolve and bury their hatchet in the interest of Southwest, Yoruba and give Tinubu the best support he deserves from them.
“I also want to say that Osinbajo, Aregbesola and others who are in the same category of aggrieved party members should direct their supporters to do so and join various campaign groups.”

Usman added that the chances of Tinubu’s victory in the 2023 election will be more strong if all the political stakeholders join the movement.

He advised, “Don’t let us go to war with a divided team, we need genuine reconciliation and support for the task ahead because it is a must-win for Yorubaland.”

Tinubu and Osinbajo contested the APC presidential primary election in June, though Tinubu won the election, the vice president has been avoiding any political engagement with the former Lagos State governor.

Rauf Aregbesola in the build-up to the APC primary fell out with Tinubu who was his godfather as Lagos state governor.
