Oniyelu Bridget Mojisola, the identity of the Account Holder in Betta Edu’s N585 Million Scandal has been revealed.

 

NewsOnline Nigeria reports that the identity of the lady behind the account used in the alleged N585 million looting by the suspended Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Betta Edu, has been unveiled.

 

This Nigeria news platform had earlier reported that President Bola Tinubu, on Monday, suspended the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, Betta Edu, and directed an investigation into her Ministry.

Edu, who was grilled on Tuesday, by the EFCC, had allegedly directed the disbursement of N585,198,500.00 grant meant for Vulnerable Groups in Akwa Ibom, Cross River, Lagos and Ogun States, into a private account.

 

Oniyelu Bridget Mojisola emerged as the central figure in this scandal, as Beta Edu allegedly orchestrated the receipt of N585 million through her account.

 

The transactions were reportedly approved by Toluhi Martins Olarewaju and Christopher Okoh Joseph, appointed as signatories to the NSIPA account by the Accountant General of the Federation.

 

In a viral video shared by a X (Twitter) User, Jackson Ude the face of Oniyelu Bridget Mojisola was brought to light, shedding a spotlight on the individual whose account became entangled in the controversy.

 

The revelation adds a tangible dimension to the unfolding scandal, prompting further scrutiny into the circumstances surrounding the alleged misuse of funds meant for the poor.
