1. Reports emerged on Saturday that the Federal Government is currently engaging the World Bank on a fresh $1.5bn loan.
Abbreviated as HOPE, the loan is titled ‘Nigeria Human Capital for Opportunities and Empowerment’ based on information obtained from the website of the Washington-based institution.
2. Fresh evidence has emerged on how a victim of ‘one-chance’ robbers in Abuja, Greatness Olorunfemi, was confirmed dead on arrival at the Maitama District Hospital, Abuja. It was gathered on Saturday that the deceased was brought into the hospital dead and there was no request for a police report as captured in the viral video.

Suspected bandits have invaded the Angwanwaku community in Kufana Chiefdom of Kajuru Local Government Area of Kaduna State, killing a villager, while no fewer than 19 others, including women were abducted. The Secretary of the Chiefdom, Tanimu Makaddas stated that the incident happened around 12:00 am on Saturday.
