1. The organised labour, on Tuesday, threatened to begin an indefinite strike should the Federal Government fail to meet its demands at the end of a 21-day ultimatum which will expire in approximately one week’s time. The National Assistant General Secretary of the NLC, Mr Christopher Onyeka stated this in an interview on Tuesday.

2. All the media aides attached to the office of the Ondo State Deputy Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, have been relieved of their positions. This was contained in a statement issued by the Chief Press Secretary to Governor Rotimi Akeredolu, Richard Olatunde, on Tuesday.

3. A former Minister of External Affairs, Professor Bolaji Akinyemi, says President Bola Ahmed Tinubu inherited a lot of problems from the bad leadership of the past governments. The victims, who were kidnapped on August 17, have spent 26 days in the kidnappers’ den.

8. The Benue State government, on Tuesday, confirmed the abduction of 10 passengers from two Benue Links vehicles near Okene, Kogi State on their way to Lagos last Sunday. The government also said 20 others, including two drivers and 18 passengers, were safe and reached their various destinations in Lagos.

The suspect was said to have come to the said Taranka village for charcoal business, and in the course of his stay, the two persons went missing.
