LOPE Media Network has pledged continued support for digital journalism in 2025.

NewsOnline Nigeria reports that the League of Online Publishers/Editors (LOPE) Media Network has issued a New Year message reaffirming its commitment to truth, integrity, and the advancement of digital journalism in Nigeria.

This Nigeria news platform understands that the association’s chairman, Mr Justice Nonso Mmadubugwu expressed gratitude for the network’s members and stakeholders, acknowledging the challenges faced by the media industry in the past year.

“As we step into this New Year, I express my heartfelt gratitude for our unwavering support and dedication,” Mmadubugwu stated.

He highlighted the network’s core values of truth, integrity, and commitment to high standards in digital journalism.

The message recognized the difficulties of navigating the evolving media landscape and combating misinformation. Despite these challenges, LOPE reiterated its dedication to promoting media excellence, defending press freedom, and fostering digital literacy across Nigeria.

Looking ahead to 2025, LOPE pledged to continue supporting and empowering online journalists and editors. This includes providing platforms for professional growth and advocating for policies that protect the rights of media practitioners.

“The coming year brings new opportunities to grow, collaborate, and contribute to the progress of our network and our beloved nation, Nigeria,” Mmadubugwu said. He called for continued unity, excellence, and innovation.

The message concluded with New Year wishes for peace, prosperity, and happiness for all members, partners, and stakeholders.

“Together, we will make 2025 a year to remember,” Mmadubugwu concluded.
